The Pole Play forums have been founded to create a place for unbiased discussion of all things pole related. They were set up in July 2008 and we hope they will provide open and honest discussion until pole dnace no longer exists... which isn't going to happen! We thank all of you for being a part of this online community.
Remember to do a search or browse before posting to check your thread hasn't already been covered.
In order to keep the forums running well and to prevent problems, please follow these simple rules for the forums here. If you have any questions or problems, please feel free to contact one of the Admin team.
Pole Play Conduct:
Posts on this forum which stick within the rules below shall not be deleted even if they promote a business in direct competition with Pole Play or The Pole Divas Championships.
We expect fair discussions on all topics and believe everyone has a right to their own opinion and experiences.
We will not remove users from the forums under circumstances of personal greivance unless this is directly related to their conduct on the forums themselves.
HOWEVER... if we believe a discussion is reaching an end on any subject or that it is causing too much distress we will close the topic although it will not be deleted.
Any false information posted regarding Pole Play or any other business will not be deleted from the forum, instead we (or the party involved) will respond and the thread will be locked. If the false information or defamatory remark is regarding Pole Play or a related business a private email will be sent out stating that a retraction must be made on the forum to avoid legal proceedings.
We wish to create a generally happy community although we understand that personal and business differences may occur, we request that those involved do not have heated arguments on the forums but take their domestic squabbles elsewhere!
General Rules:
While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts. Our decision is final in these matters.
Please refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) non-sense posts, or the such.
Multiple or repeated posting in order to increase your post count is not allowed.
Advertising is allowed in certain topics but permission must be granted first. Spam and random promoting will be deleted. This includes using the forum email and Private message system to spam other members.
We also do not allow posts that are sexual in nature or violate Pole Play community standards. The Admin team shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards.
Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed. Each member is allowed one login account.
Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed.
While we are quite happy to have constructive comparative conversations about competitor's products, we will not tolerate blatant adverts (see above) or the sort of 'ooh look, yet another bulletin board' threads. Also, we would appreciate it if you refrain from blatant bashing of other boards, pole schools or any other business.
We reserve the right to remove offensive posts without notice.
If you are going to post non-English on these forums, please also post an English Translation of your post.
Also while these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.
You cannot post any affiliate or referral links, or post anything asking for a referral. Such posts will be subject to removal.
We also reserve the right to ban anyone who wilfully violates the forum rules, as access to our forums are a privilege and not a right. Any threads/posts of these types will be deleted.
Advertising Services and Solicitation
We do not allow people to post threads or to send private messages or emails to users here that advertise or solicit any products, services, funds or donations except in the Competitions and Events, Beg, Borrow or Barter and Pimp Your Site topics and within the rules set out below.
You should never give out your Pole Play username or password to anyone except through the Pole Play Admin team. We can not take responsibility if you disclose this information to anyone else.
Links in Sigs
Links in signatures must follow these guidelines:
Linking to a commercial product/service is fine.
Promotional text for a commercial product or service is ok, provided there are no price(s) of product(s) or service(s) listed.
A link and promotional text for a site that is not commercial and does not contain product(s) and/or service(s) is allowed, provided the site is not sexual or does not violate Pole Play community standards. The Admin team shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards. (Examples include sites about drugs and/or sex.)
Duplicate links to the same URL in a signature are not allowed.
Avatars
Avatars that may be confused with official staff avatars are not allowed.
Signature Size Limits
All signatures should not exceed the following size limits.
For text signatures: 4 lines normal size, 8 lines small size and up to 90 chars per line. Font sizes above 2 are not allowed. (Blank lines count as lines.)
Do not use images with large text to bypass the previous item
For images in signatures: 1 image up to 300 pixels wide, 125 pixels tall and 20k in size

This forum is for discussing poles and accessories. Advertising of products or services is not allowed. Any posts violating this rule will be removed.
Please feel free to use this forum to discuss and compare various products.
Pole Tricks, Moves & Transitions
This forum is designed to create an international catelogue of moves. Search or browse the forum before posting a new thread to ensure the trick you are describing is not already in existence nder the same or alternative name.
One thread per trick.
Instructors & Business Advice
This forum is not for advertising your business! You may post on here to ask advice about specific subjects you are having problems with. Too many posts on the same subject will be combined or deleted.
Buy, Borrow or Barter!
This forum is for private individuals to request or sell items. It is NOT for any business to advertise regularly or promote it's products.
Pole schools, retailers or manufacturers may advertise if they have pole to rent out but are only permitted to include any details plus their website, email and phone number.
Pimp Your Site
You may promote your classes here but please send a request into the Admin team at [url]info@pole-play.co.uk[/url] first or your post will be deleted until you do!
Chit Chat
The Chit Chat forum is where users can gather to chat about almost anything, technical or non-technical in nature. If you have a question that doesn't fit into any other forum, or just want to chat, this is the place. That is all... go play!
